African Creative Class: Ghana - Film Screening, Panel & Networking D.C. Event 

On November 14th, 2024, Melanin Unscripted, in collaboration with Evrything Africa and sponsored by Eaton House DC and Bohten Eyewear, hosted the much-anticipated "African Creative Class: Ghana" event at the Eaton Hotel in Washington, D.C. This event was a vibrant celebration of African creativity, featuring an exclusive documentary screening, a dynamic panel discussion, and an enriching networking session.

Event Highlights:

Documentary Screening: The evening kicked off with the premiere of "African Creative Class: Ghana," directed by the acclaimed filmmaker, Amarachi Nwosu. The documentary delved into the heart of Ghana’s creative industries, showcasing how art, fashion, and music are driving cultural and economic innovation across the continent.

Panel Discussion: Following the screening, attendees were treated to an insightful panel discussion with Amarachi Nwosu, Ryan Hampton, Vanessa Dos Santos, moderated by Terry Oppong—at Eaton House. The panelist shared their experiences and the impact of creative industries in reshaping African narratives globally.

Networking Session: The event concluded with a networking session organized by Evrything Africa, where attendees connected over shared interests in African creativity and potential collaborations. This session provided a platform for creatives, executives, and enthusiasts to engage directly with the movers and shakers of the African creative scene.
