As production partner and creative development studio, we led the creative for this feature-length documentary that offers a lens into the world of African boundary-pushers, storytellers, and historymakers.
Directed by MU Founder Amarachi Nwosu for Nike, this episode brings together a body positivity activist, athlete, and singer to talk about body politics and the revolutionary power of self-love and self-expression.
Together with Vox Creative and Starbucks we created an inspiring short film and visual tribute to Black women photographers and their powerful impact on the world of visual storytelling.
We were commissioned to produce an episode of Vogue’s popular ”Model Diaries” series in Accra, Ghana featuring supermodel Adesuwa.

Melanin Unscripted and Mehari Sequar Gallery hosted an event commemorating the upcoming premiere of Women of Color in Japan, an MU short documentary by Amarachi Nwosu.
In partnership with SONY RCA in Accra, Ghana, MU curated a panel to discuss African music with some of the leading voices on the continent and the diaspora, and a Q&A session with Superstar artist Davido which was closed out with an afterparty with sounds from Juls, and more.
In partnership with Budweiser, MU curated Chi Modu’s homecoming experience in Nigeria, which featured an exhibition of his work, a masterclass for Nigerian creatives, a mini concert featuring Ladipoe and Dremo and an afterparty DJ’d by MU founder Amarachi Nwosu, Smallz the DJ, DJ Calix and more.

Directed by Amarachi Nwosu and shot on location in Accra, Ghana, Melanin Unscripted crafted a compelling brand narrative and visual identity for Aafiya Collective, deeply rooted in African heritage. This project was a collaborative effort with our production partner, Filming As Woman, led by Kuukua Eshun. We prioritized casting diverse faces and voices from the local community to authentically represent the brand and its commitment to inclusive, authentic healing experiences. The result is a brand that resonates deeply with the global Black community and empowers individuals to reconnect with their roots through wellness.
