MU explores how African storytellers have used documentation and visual communication to showcase African narratives in fashion through various media.

Created with the intention of transforming narratives on slavery, ‘Sankofa’ which translates to Going Back to Forgotten Gems, is a photo story that takes the viewer on a journey through Cape Coast Castle where thousands of slaves were captured and held captive by western colonizers.

MU spotlights Davido’s Sophomore album “A Good Time” which takes listeners on sonic journey through his life and touches on love, celebration, culture and community.
